I Was The Husband And The 'Other" Man

I work  in a  construction  firm ,as a consultant, at the end of every  month  my take  home package  is about  one million  Naira  including  allowances, I also  engage in  other personal  businesses which  fetches  me  some money, at the end I would say end of the  month  doesn't  come with any  pressure as I always  have enough to take  care of  my  family.

My wife of about  five years  works in the  general hospital ,we have two  beautiful  children, a boy and a girl.

My wife  told me  her salary was seventy five thousand Naira,

I don't  bother asking   my wife about  her salary,at the end of every month, I make  provisions for  the  house upkeep,I made sure my  wife and  kids  have enough to  be comfortable with.

My wife has worked in the  hospital for seven years, she  was working there  even before we got married, I didn't  mention  that I  met her during  my  visit  to the  general   hospital, one  of  our priceless  clients  had visited the firm to negotiate for a shopping  complex he was proposing to  build, he needed to  take  quotations and  also take a look at the various  samples of designs to know the  design he'd want, in the  process of  checking out these designs which were  neatly  stacked up in the factory warehouse, he steppe on a nail, the  nail pierced his sandals and  went inside his foot  through the opening, blood  gushed  profusely  out of his legs,

I quickly  called the  driver and together we rushed him to the general hospital  which situated  few meters away from the firm,

We received  immediate  attention and  Mr Francis was  well treated,it was in the  process of the running around trying to see the  doctor on duty that  I met my  wife  Beatrice who worked at the  laboratory  as a lab scientist .

So I wanted to know the reason  why she has never  gotten a  pay rise  ,she informed me twice in the last four years about  her promotions but didn't  mention anything about a rise in her salary.

My wife  dismissed  my  worries,she said  there have been promises of increament, few weeks after I spoke out about  what I  called a "miserable  pay" she came home with an envelope and showed me the letter of increament, her salary  has rose  to one hundred thousand  Naira. She  said they  made some noise about  resigning and the  management  had to top up their take home  packages and promised to do more


I was still  not comfortable, my wife  had a Master's degree in  laboratory science ,to be earning so little after almost  10 years of work experience didn't  make any sense to me.

I made attempts to get in touch with one of the hospital directors who has been  my friend  since that  Mr Francis's  accident  to ask little questions, my interest was to make  sure  my wife  gets what she deserved , not for any other reason.

I stopped by the  mall one  Saturday evening  to buy beverages for my kids, done with picking up stuff, I went to the cashier's desk to pay,I  was at the  counter waiting for my turn then I felt a hand  touch me, I turned and it was  phina,my wife's  cousin, she was excited to see  me, it has been  so long  I saw her, she was  pushing her way to where   I stood so I stepped out of the queue to make it easier, I stretched out  my  hands and she rushed into  my  spreaded hands, phina  has been a very  jovial and  friendly in -law,she has spent  times  with my family severally, she graduated from the  federal university in the  city and  left to live in another city.

Phina didn't let me say anything, her excitement was extreme, I managed to ask after her welfare, her  immediate family and her Job , by these time we were seated, we located an empty seat at a corner and  sat down, Phina  asked me about  my lovely kids and her cousin  ,my wife,then  she said "I'm so happy with the success you and my  cousin  have recorded, the  house in town is exceptional, I heard  the one  in the city is almost  completed, you guys are too much",

For almost 3 minutes I didn't talk, Phina's comment  threw  me off balance, she was  too excited to notice  my  confused self, I managed to  smile and  carry on the conversation.

We finally  got done with our conversation, Phina  promised to visit my family soon, I paid for her shopping and mine and headed out to the  parking lot to  put  my bag into the car.

I was  confused,the  house in the  town and the  city  belonged to who? I didn't  have any  ongoing  project, I completed the  house  I built in my  village   few months to my wedding, I was still  planning to go into  building business,like  I plan to start  building  houses and selling them upon  completion, I carry  my wife along in these plans.

I went underground and  began digging ,it took me two  months to get a clue and finally a hold on everything that  has been  happening around me, it was too heavy for  my heart  to bear and my  shoulder to carry.

My wife  wasn't just  lying to me about  her salary, She lied to me about  the  Good morning she said to me every day.

She was a landlady,she owned a pharmceutical  complex and a lover  she was sincere to.

Man drugged A 15 Years Old Girl, Shaved Off Her Pubic Hair, Deflowered Her And Made Away With The. Shaved Pubic Hair.

A 39 years  old  man  by name Chika okafor  a resident of 3/16 okete street  mende, Maryland  Lagos  who on the  17th day of October  2018 raped  a 15 years  old girl and  shaved  her pubic hair  has been  arrested.

Mr Chika drove  the  young  girl  in his car to a beer joint and  convinced  her to take  some  liquor,

The  girl  who apparently was a novice  had her first taste of liquor and was  completely  knocked out  after  gulping  a large  quantity of  the  alchlolic  content,seeing  she has become  tipsy, Mr Chika  took  her to a hotel in oshodi .

Getting into his hotel room, he undressed  the  girl, the  girl begged  him to. Let  her go as she  was a virgin ,but Mr Chika Still  went on to shave  her pubic hair and  had sex with  her, he defiled  her and  went  away with  the  pubic hair he shaved off the  teenage  girl.

The  following  morning, Mr Chika  took the  girl to one of his friend's place  at oshodi  ,and had  his way with  her again, he later on  drove the  girl to the  nearest  stop to her residence and  dropped  her  at a junction.

On getting  home, the  girl narrated  her ordeal  to her mum who immediately  petitioned the  Lagos state  commissioner of police Imohimi  Edgal, Mr commissioner  immediately  ordered a  manhunt against the  suspect

He was  eventually  arrested on November  24th by  detectives  attached to the  Gender  unit  of Lagos state police  command and  will  charged to the  family court on Friday  30th November 2018..

University Undergraduate Died From Sexual Ecstasy

If Lydia  had the  power of seeing the  future  or even had the  opportunity of   meeting a soothsayer  she might  have seen or might  have  been lucky  to  receive a  warning message about the  tragic end  to what she may have  tagged a harmless  hangout ..

She left  her parents  house  that  fateful  Saturday  evening to meet up with  her man friend   whom she dated secretly  , Lydia  was a   21 years  old  300 levels sociology  student  in a Nigerian  university.
Her affairs with  the  53years old  man who was a  member of the  national  Assembly  went on  without  her parents  knowledge


It was a fun party  organised by a close friend of  the  honourable  and  every one  attended with  their  girlfriends  who were  mostly  undergraduates  from  different  universities  In Nigeria. Lydia  sneaked out of her house  but later  called  her mum to tell  her she  was spending the night at her best friend's  house

Party  went on into the  deep night, guests  started  withdrawing into their  different  suites  to rest and  catch  some  feelings with  their  partner's.

It wasn't the  first time the  honourable  will  get  intimate with  Lydia.as their relationship  had been on for some time,

They  went on the  first round, everything went well and the  second, it was in the  middle of the 2nd round that the  honourable  noticed  Lydia  was  slipping away, instead of  her arousal response to  his jerks,she  slipped and  woobled stretching  her  body and  trying to  get a hold on the  bedspread  maybe to support  herself, the  honourable  immediately  removed  his manhood which at that   time had become  placid, he reached out and  held her, it was then he noticed  her eyes were  closing and saliva  was dripping from the sides of  her mouth,

He quickly  called the  hotel's  clinic  for help, the  clinic  attendants responded  quickly and  rushed  Lydia to the  clinic. A doctor  checked her pulse and  it  has gone  weak and her heartbeat   was faint, treatment  was administered ,the  doctor  confirmed she slipped into  unconsciousness

She didn't  recover,about 10 am the  next day  Lydia  gave up the  ghost to the  shock of every one who was present at the  clinic with them and  those who partied with them the other  night

the  doctor said she  suffered  intense  shock and  still recommended an autopsy .
It was tragic for the honourable  ,he cried like a  baby, filled with confusion about how  best to go about the  tragic incident, his friends and  few family members who  he confided in advised  him to reach out to the  mother of the girl firstly,

The  honourable  found a way and connected to tm Lydia's  maternal uncle. and told  him what  happened, it was miserable time for Lydia's  family, her uncle  invited  his sister (Lydia's  mum)  over to spend few days with  him with the  pretence that  he's not feeling well and  needed  her to  help him out  with  cooking and other  chores.

Two  days into  Lydia's  mom stay in  her brother's house, the  news about  Lydia's  death was  broken to her.

To say she was shattered was  an understatement, Lydia's  mom almost  passed away with  her daughter, she  collapsed on  hearing the  news.

After  Lydia's  mom recovered  ,she  and  her ramily  members went back to  her husband's  house and  broke the news to Lydia's  father.

The  autopsy report stated Lydia  died from excessive  ecstatic  feeling, the  ecstasy  came in loads and rushed too much  blood  to her heart  at once, because she was  in  motion, her veins and arteries  tightened up, these  didn't  allow  air to flow  freely  and Lydia  got shocked.

Her body was  taken home for burial while  her father  arrested the  honourable, he was  bailed after few days and the  case has been taken to court.
